The dim ceiling light in the kitchen was all I had to work with, as I didn't want to leave the stove unattended. I let the tungsten light bathe the pepper's tightly-packed seeds in a warm glow and let the crisp fractured edge and glistening droplets speak for the freshness of the produce.

This was taken at the Wool and Fiber Festival last year in Waynesburg, PA. When I arrived, a mini tractor pull was in progress and I wanted to capture the competitors' determination to reach the finish line.
